Alyssa
Coach and Choreographer
A native of Buffalo, NY, Alyssa started her training at the age of 7 in classical ballet, jazz, and tap. She is a graduate of Mercyhurst University where she earned a dual degree in both Dance and Arts Management. She spent three seasons with the Mercyhurst Dance Team as well as two seasons with the NBA G League Erie Bayhawks Dance Team. In October 2015, Alyssa was invited with the Erie Bayhawks to dance for China Hoops and toured around China, dancing in over 10 cities. Upon graduation, she spent three seasons with the Baltimore Blast Cheerleaders, serving as a captain for two years. In addition to her performing career, Alyssa has as extensive teaching and choreography background, and she has taught for many studios across the country. She has worked for leading ballet programs in Los Angeles, Dallas, Tampa, as well as her hometown of Buffalo. Alyssa currently works in the fitness, where her love of danced pushed her to become a certified personal trainer and continue teaching those who want to expand their movement practice. She looks forward to continuing her teaching career for many more years and pass on her love for the arts to audiences and students.
