Choreographer and Program Development

Gaby has been training in dance for 20  years, 10 of which have been devoted to New York Styled Salsa. Gaby grew up dancing  in Queens, where she continues to teach and perform in competitions and company shows. As a High School student, Gaby applied and auditioned for, and was selected to attend the Professional Performing Arts High School in Midtown Manhattan. Gaby spent her mornings attending academic classes, and her afternoons dancing at the the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre where she received all of her classical dance training in Ballet, Jazz, Graham Technique. Horton Technique, Hip-Hop, West African, Pointe technique, as well as repertoire. She studied dance at AAADT for 4 years. 

Gaby began her professional salsa career at BAILA Society after 6 years of salsa at Lorenz Latin Dance School. Gaby's dance resume includes intensives with the Radio City Rockettes, performance at the Joyce Theatre in New York City as well as salsa performances nationally at several charity events and dance conferences. Additionally, Gabriela has been an instructor at BAILA Society and highly sought after for her unique dance knowledge and blend of various arts.
