The main focus of SSDC is competitive dance. This company has produced some of the country’s top competitive dance teams, specializing in hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, street jazz, lyrical and  precision.  SSDC is proud of it's successful graduates who have gone on to dance as members on prestigious ivy league college dance teams, as well as become professional performers in their field.

Kristin has put her heart and soul into  creating Shooting Stars NYC.  A company designed to be  a safe haven for girls to learn confidence, develop life long friendships, and find their own unique voice through dance.  Kristin's company prides itself on instilling girl-power, teamwork, and sisterhood. She refers to her dancers  as  "Star Family."

For multilple years, the Stars have  performed Halftime for the Harlem Globe Trotters at Madison Square Garden. As well as halftime and pregame for the Knicks at MSG, the world's most famous arena. The girls were also called back for America's Got Talent, and were also scouted for a  private audition the year after.  The teams have worked and performed  with dynamic fashion designer Betsy Johnson, Most recently,  Jr Company modeled and performed in a  high end retail photoshoot.
