Kirsten is a thriving dance artist and choreographer. Kirsten studied at The Hartt School in Connecticut, earning her BFA in Dance Performance in 2015, under the direction of Stephen Pier. While studying at Hartt, she performed various works by legendary choreographers such as José Limon, Martha Graham, and Petipa. Kirsten has also worked with thriving artists of today, including Gregory Dolbashian, Charlotte Griffin, Loni Landon, and Yin Yue. As a student at Hartt, Kirsten was selected to perform with Hartford’s resident contemporary dance company, Full Force Dance Theater, under the direction of Katie Stevinson-Nollet. The company performed alongside the Hartford Symphony Orchestra at the Bushnell Theater. As a student choreographer, Kirsten’s work entitled GLITCH was selected to perform at the American College Dance Awards in Providence, RI. Kirsten is a member of PMT Dance Company, and has performed on NBC’s The TODAY Show, breaking the Guinness World Record for “Largest Choreographed Street Dance”, as well as Barclays Center & Madison Square Garden. Other performance credits include dancing for comedian Hannibal Burress at the ODDBALL Comedy Festival, The Peridance Faculty & Student Showcase, and the “8 in Show” series at Dixon Place, which also featured her own choreography.
