Choreographer and Coach
Sara is a dance artist and educator. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst iearning a BFA in Dance. Following graduation, Sara joined the Limón Dance Company as a trainee and later became a member of its second company. Over the past several years, Sara has worked as a full-time dance educator, teaching students ages 13–18 at a public charter school in New York City, while also teaching extensively throughout Westchester and Dutchess Counties. She has worked with students ages 2–18 in ballet, contemporary, and modern dance. In addition to classroom teaching, she has choreographed competition pieces that have been performed at both regional and national levels. Sara is excited to join the Shooting Stars family and looks forward to sharing her passion for dance with istudents.
